Ugandans On X(Twitter) Mourn Loss of Photographer SaadShots in Fatal Crash

A tragic road accident along the Entebbe Airport Highway near the United Nations base has claimed the life of a celebrated Ugandan photographer and social media personality, SaadShots. The fatal crash, which occurred on Friday evening, also took the life of another unidentified individual, leaving fans and the creative industry in shock and mourning.

SaadShots, renowned for his striking visuals, unique creative direction, and influential presence on social media, has become a beloved figure within Uganda’s entertainment circles.
His death sparked an immediate outpouring of grief online, with thousands taking to X (formerly Twitter) to express disbelief, sorrow, and heartfelt tributes.

In what now feels like an eerie premonition, SaadShots’ last tweet read:
“Quick reminder, Tomorrow can happen without you.!”

The screenshot of that tweet has since gone viral, haunting fans and followers with its unintended irony and finality.

One emotional tribute from user Nakanwagi Betty captured the nation’s heartbreak:
“If the dead could move, I would tell you to scroll through Twitter and see how these people love you. Gone too soon.”

Another user, Mr. Winston wrote:
“Death is natural but every time it happens, it’s a shock to everyone.”

The bodies of the victims were transported to Mulago City Mortuary as investigations into the cause of the crash continue.

By press time Police had not yet released an official statement on the possible factors behind the accident.
