Police in Kasangati are investigating the sudden death of Ms. Fatumah Bbuye Nabiwemba, a 47-year-old State Attorney attached to the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP), whose body was discovered in her residence on Thursday evening.
According to Kampala Metropolitan Police, the incident was reported at around 8:36 p.m. on July 10 by Mr. Hamuza Kabanda, a driver at the DPP headquarters. Preliminary investigations suggest that Ms. Nabiwemba, who lived alone in Wampeewo, Kasangati Town Council, had not been seen at work for at least four days before the discovery.
