Rubaga Deputy Resident City Commissioner Anderson Burora has petitioned the Inspector General Of Police Okoth Ochola to put strict guidelines against parents who carry along their children to music shows.
Burora says these shows tend to carry all sorts of immoral behaviors, prostitution, indecent dressing, excessive drinking, and smoking which is not suitable for young children.
He made this call on the backdrop of reports of immorality that transpired during new year end-of-year music shows across the country
Anderson Bulora the deputy RCC of the Rubaga division says some event organisers have turned music events into battlegrounds notably for political fights.
It is against this backdrop that Bulora has said they have compiled a list of promoters, and musicians to the inspector General of Police Okoth Ochola that should be considered when clearing such events.
The RDC emphasizes that his actions are not dictated by one’s political, social, or religious beliefs.
Burora also stresses that parents should be barred from coming with children in these shows. He says children under 13 years should not be allowed in shows.
