Popular musician Patrick Mulwana, better known by his stage name Alien Skin, was arrested on Wednesday in connection with the death of dancer Wilfred Namuwaya, alias Top Dancer.
According to Kampala Metropolitan Police spokesperson SSP Patrick Onyango, the singer reported himself to the Director of Crime Intelligence, who then handed him over to Katwe Police Station.

“As I speak now, he is recording his statement. Police want to know his side of the story because there are allegations that he instructed his boys to assault the late Namuwaya,” Onyango said.
He added that after taking Mulwana’s statement, investigators will compile the case file and forward it to the Directorate of Public Prosecutions for legal guidance.
The circumstances surrounding Namuwaya’s death remain under investigation, and police have not yet confirmed the exact charges that the musician may face.
Alien Skin, one of Uganda’s most controversial and outspoken performers, has been in the spotlight in recent months over public altercations and clashes linked to his entourage.
