By ETIHAD STADIUM, MANCHESTER – Liverpool took a significant step toward reclaiming the Premier League title with a commanding 2-0 victory over Manchester City, extending their lead at the top of the table to 11 points. With City slipping to fourth, level on points with Newcastle, and Arsenal failing to capitalize on opportunities, the Premier League title now seems firmly in Liverpool’s grasp. The Reds still have a showdown with Arsenal ahead, but with their current form and dominance, it would take an extraordinary collapse for them to let this lead slip.
