The Busoga Kingdom is celebrating a momentous occasion following the announcement by His Majesty, the Kyabazinga of Busoga, William Gabula Nadiope IV, of the birth of his twin sons.
In a statement shared on his official platform on Monday, the monarch revealed that the newborns Prince William Ethan Nadiope and Prince Arnold Eli Nadiope were delivered on August 27, 2025.
“With profound joy and heartfelt gratitude, I am delighted to formally announce the birth of our twin sons,” the Kyabazinga wrote, describing their arrival as “a deeply cherished milestone” in his family’s journey.

He further reassured the kingdom that both the infants and their mother are in excellent health and high spirits. “We give thanks to Almighty God for His blessings and abundant grace and for ushering us into this new chapter as a family of four,” he added.
The news has been met with widespread jubilation across Busoga and beyond, with royal subjects, political leaders, cultural institutions and well-wishers sending congratulatory messages to the Kyabazinga and his queen.
The Kyabazinga expressed gratitude for the outpouring of love, goodwill and prayers received since the announcement, noting that he looked forward to introducing the princes to the kingdom in due course.
The birth of the heirs strengthens the Busoga royal lineage and marks the first time in modern memory that the Kyabazingaship has been blessed with twins.
The Kyabazinga signed off his message with the traditional Busoga rallying call: “Busoga Okwisania N’amanhi” a declaration of unity and strength.
