Through his lawyers at Wamimbi Advocates & Solicitors, the celebrated musician sent a formal defamation notice dated May 6, 2025, demanding that Dr. Cephico retracts a viral video in which he claimed King Saha had damaged his vehicle a silver Toyota Noah, registration UBF 661Q. The video, posted on May 5 via Cephico’s TikTok handle, has since been widely circulated online.
Saha’s legal team categorically refuted the claims, stating that the singer was not even in the country at the time of the alleged incident. “Our client was out of the country in Japan,” the letter noted, citing verified travel records and witness accounts.
The lawyers described the video as not only false but malicious, saying it was published with the intent to damage King Saha’s reputation and public image. According to the notice, the statement has caused emotional distress and public embarrassment to the singer, while also exposing him to ridicule and potential loss of professional opportunities.

In response, King Saha is demanding a public apology, a retraction of the claims across all social media platforms, and financial compensation amounting to Shs200 million within seven days. He also wants Dr. Cephuco to cease making further defamatory statements and to provide written confirmation of compliance with the demands.
“If you fail to do so, our client is inclined to commence legal proceedings,” the letter concludes.
As of press time, Dr. Cephico had not responded publicly to the accusations.
