Reading a message from President Yoweri Museveni, Alupo underscored the importance of cultural leaders in preserving heritage and fostering national identity.

“The restoration of cultural institutions was a recognition of our ancestors’ foresight, which united clans into strong entities like Buganda, Bunyoro, and Ankole to maintain harmony and stability,” Museveni’s message stated.

The vehicles will boost mobility, enabling cultural leaders to reach remote areas and support initiatives in education, health, and poverty alleviation.

Alupo urged the leaders to continue advocating for peace and unity as Uganda prepares for the 2026 general elections.
