According to the prosecution, the accused, together with others still at large, allegedly committed the offenses on January 3, 2018, at the Ministry Zonal Office of the Kampala Capital City Authority.
It is alleged that Ahebwa and his accomplices forged a land transfer form with the intent to deceive or defraud and subsequently used the falsified document to fraudulently obtain a certificate of title for land located on Kyadondo Block 255, Plot 389, in Munyonyo.
The court heard that the fraudulent actions were intended to illegally acquire ownership of the prime land, a case that underscores the growing concern over land-related fraud in the city.
Ahebwa has been remanded as investigations into the matter continue, and efforts are underway to apprehend his co-accused who remain on the run.
The case is scheduled to return to court on a later date as the prosecution prepares to present its evidence.
