By Police have arrested a suspect and recovered a motor vehicle linked to a double murder that occurred at Mumbi Zone in Lungujja Parish, Rubaga Division, earlier this month.
According to the police, the breakthrough followed credible intelligence received on February 9 regarding the whereabouts of a motor vehicle, registration number UBH 633M, which had gone missing after the incident on February 7, 2026.
Acting on the information, security operatives moved in and apprehended two suspects on February 10, 2026, while also recovering the vehicle believed to be connected to the crime.
Police identified one of the suspects as Ssempala Allan. Authorities said investigations are ongoing and that more details will be communicated in due course.
