Stepfather Held Over Alleged Defilement of Two Stepdaughters

Wakiso Police are currently holding a stepfather in connection with the alleged defilement of his two stepdaughters, aged 14 and 12, who are both pupils.

The incident is said to have occurred between June and October 2025 at Nsekwa-Musisi village in Wakiso district. The matter was reported to Wakiso Police Station on December 8, 2025, at 12:00 PM.

Preliminary investigations reveal that the suspect, Ssentamu Edirisa, allegedly took advantage of the victims while their mother was away at the market, and shared a single room with them. The 14-year-old victim is reportedly pregnant.

“We strongly condemn such acts of sexual violence, more so by parents and guardians that these girls look to,” said SP Racheal Kawala, PRO for Kampala Metropolitan Police.

A case of aggravated defilement has been opened, and investigations are ongoing.
