Police in Wakiso are investigating an aggravated robbery that occurred on the night of 6th November 2025 in Kikaaya Village, Ssumbwe Parish, Wakiso Sub-county.
Preliminary reports indicate that three unidentified men on a motorcycle, one armed with a gun, attacked multiple business premises, including a soft drink depot, a mobile money and agent banking outlet, and a retail shop. The suspects stole an unspecified amount of cash and two mobile phones before fleeing the scene.
No injuries were reported during the incident.

CCTV footage from two of the affected premises reportedly captured the suspects and is currently under review to aid investigations.
A case of aggravated robbery has been registered at Bulenga Police Station, where officers have documented evidence and launched inquiries to track down the perpetrators.
Police have appealed to the public to provide any information that may assist in identifying or locating the suspects.
“We urge anyone with relevant information to report to the nearest police station,” said ASP Luke Owoyesigyire, Deputy Public Relations Officer, Kampala Metropolitan Police.
Authorities have assured residents that investigations are ongoing and efforts are underway to apprehend those responsible for the crime.
