By Police have arrested a prime suspect in connection with the gruesome murder of Epodoi Moses, a 32-year-old security guard attached to Corporate Security Limited, who was found beheaded on Tuesday morning at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Kansanga.
According to ASP Luke Owoyesigyire, the Deputy Public Relations Officer for Kampala Metropolitan Police, preliminary investigations indicate that Epodoi, who was on duty at the church gate, was attacked and killed by a man reportedly known to some church members.

A team of detectives from Kabalagala Police Division visited the scene, which was thoroughly examined and documented. Several exhibits were recovered and sent for forensic analysis to aid the ongoing investigations.
On Wednesday, October 30, 2025, police conducted an intelligence-led operation that led to the arrest of Alimu Caleb, the prime suspect, at Ggaba Landing Site. Police say Alimu has since confessed to the murder and is cooperating with investigators, guiding them to where he hid the victim’s head and the knife allegedly used in the crime.
The body of the deceased was conveyed to Mulago City Mortuary for postmortem examination, while police continue to investigate the motive behind the killing.
Owoyesigyire commended members of the public for their cooperation and urged continued vigilance and timely reporting of suspicious activities to security agencies.
