During the orientation, the entrepreneurs showcased their business initiatives, some of which they have been developing for years, demonstrating readiness to integrate ICT solutions into real-world challenges and scale their innovations.

UJ-Connect is a four-year technical cooperation project between Uganda and Japan aimed at strengthening ICT human resource capacity, fostering entrepreneurship, and building sustainable business linkages between the two nations.

Officials say the continued success of the program underscores its role in nurturing Uganda’s next generation of ICT innovators and positioning them for both local and global markets.
