New Political Party PPF Unveiled With Striking Resembles with NUP

A new political party, People Power Front (PPF), was unveiled in Kampala, sparking controversy due to its striking resemblance to the National Unity Platform (NUP), Uganda’s leading opposition party.

According to the PPF’s leadership, led by Hajj Musa Misango as chairman, he claims to have registered their party in August 2024.

The PPF’s slogan, symbol, and iconic red berets are similar to those of the NUP, led by Robert Kyagulanyi, commonly known as Bobi Wine.

This development raises questions about the intentions behind the PPF’s formation and its potential impact on Uganda’s political landscape. The NUP, led by Bobi Wine, has been a vocal opposition force, and the emergence of a similarly branded party may create confusion among supporters.
