Police in Wakiso have arrested four suspects in connection with the theft of church property and other stolen items, following a report from a local pastor.
The incident was reported by the pastor of Just Believe Ministries in Nkoowe Village, Mende Sub County, after unidentified thieves broke into the church and stole a public address system.
Through coordinated operations by Wakiso and Nkoowe Police, officers apprehended Ssekitoleko Ronald, a known repeat offender, along with his accomplices Wejuri Ronald, Ssekajja Robert, and Nabakooza Fatumah.

Police say the suspects were found in possession of various stolen household and electronic items. Subsequent searches at multiple locations led to the recovery of numerous exhibits, including televisions, amplifiers, loudspeakers, sofa sets, microphones, and other electronics, believed to have been stolen from several sources.
Investigations are ongoing as authorities work to identify more victims and recover additional stolen property.
“We are following all leads to ensure the suspects are linked to all related cases, and any recovered property is returned to its rightful owners,” said ASP Luke Owoyesigyire, Deputy PRO, Kampala Metropolitan Police.
Residents are urged to report any information on stolen items or suspicious activity to the nearest police station.
